Terms of Service
Effective date: 6 March 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of CoastalKiwiDays (the “Service”), a social casino-style game for entertainment only.
1) Eligibility & social play only
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- The Service does not offer real-money gambling. No prizes, wagering, or withdrawals of money.
2) Accounts
- You are responsible for activity on your account and keeping login credentials secure.
- Provide accurate information and do not create accounts for others or use automated registrations.
- We may suspend/terminate accounts for violations, fraud, or security risks.
3) Virtual currency & virtual items
- Game coins/credits/tokens and virtual items have no cash value, are not legal tender, and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for money or anything of monetary value.
- Virtual currency is a limited, revocable licence to use within the Service only; it may be modified, removed, or reset as part of game balance, security, or service changes.
4) In-app purchases
- Purchases are processed by your app store/payment provider; prices and taxes (including GST where applicable) are shown at checkout.
- All sales are generally final to the extent permitted by law; refunds are handled under the store’s policies and any non-excludable rights under New Zealand law.
- You are responsible for managing device/app store purchase controls.
5) Prohibited conduct
- No cheating, bots, exploits, reverse engineering, scraping, or interference with the Service.
- No abusive, unlawful, or infringing content; no attempts to sell/transfer accounts or virtual items.
- No use that violates others’ privacy, security, or intellectual property.
6) Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, software, content, and trademarks. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
7) Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties and will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
8) Disputes, governing law, changes
- Contact us first and we will try to resolve disputes in good faith.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand and disputes are subject to the courts of New Zealand.
- We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
